I want a movie of my DV Camera to play on my PC, then edit it there and burn as SVCD to display it to me on the TV.
Question: Which setting do I need to play through the movie: What should be the kbps rate, and how the pixels (720x576?)

But better to Burn DVD. The blanks synonymous not cost much more and the quality is much better.

Have the WinMovieMaker 2.0 and Ulead VideoStudio 8

I do not know both Programs, but I heard that you can burn DVDs with no WMM2.
With Ulead, it should happen soon. Programs usually have such preferences, however, appropriate that deliver passable results. Go to a DVD about one hour of video at top quality.
