HDV can be synonymous cut an ancient notebook. The question then halt as unnecessary and as long as the final render goes.

Since the problem is synonymous again s.den basics.
You cut in a native HDV sequence with 1080i. Create a new Pro Res 422-sequence with PAL and 16:9, throw your HDV sequence as pure. High quality filter, 10 bit YUV s.besten in the sequence settings. Export via Compressor. Here you select 16:9 DVD, MPEG-2 with the correct data rate. your video is under 45 minutes, then choose CB 8.5 Mbit / s. What you need to experiment with VBR. Then simple authoring via DVD Studio Pro.

Unfortunately, I cut with Final Cut Pro 5, Pro Res 422-sequence there is not? synonymous and the compressor does not work.
