Hello!
I dubbed one Selbstgedrehtes Video of ca ~ 5:14 of vhs with Vision 3 on pc. Vision while bleating about the size that I could then runterregeln via custom qualitätseinstelungen to 4.47 GB.
burning while still bleating that is not burning to hire to be successful, but when I go to burn, absolutely nothing happens.
the current operation, he does not show transcode times or so on (otherwise I'd think that the convert takes so long .. no wonder 5h synonymous with>).
And if I want to export the movie as dvd on hdd, it always breaks with an "error when transcode" error message from ..
can someone help me maybe?

I believe that had the lifetime of most readers of your movie so mangled that for an answer simply had no words ... ;-) Such a long film (and still synonymous of VHS!) Makes no sense as a quality DVD. The data rate was extremely low and the picture quality accordingly low.
Two ways to come to mind: If the DVD is designed to be compatible with most standalone DVD player, then split the movie into two or more three parts. This would benefit not only the quality of the video, but would certainly synonymous, contrary to viewers. (Who would want to> 5-hour non-stop sitting in front of the flickering?)
Option 2: You create a DivX DVD. This format allows for a strong compression of the film material with relatively good quality. Played can be such a DVD but only from the PC or of the very few DVD players.

But the video quality will not in the quality of a VHS tape or lie?
For, in a fit vcd (m) yes synonymous ~ 1h-1 1/2h film on a cd .. And one has even skipped dvd roughly 7 times the capacity ..
there is not a possible, a burn vcd dvd to that of synonymous dvdplayers then can play?
2 DVDs were synonymous quite ok but if there is anything I'd like to get the shcon.
DivX would be a bad choice because None of my friends has a DivX certified players, and look on the PC would be plenty of uncomfortable ...
wär toll if you could have another idea.

Hello Stefan,
The VCD works only with one quarter of the original image resolution. Only thus can be applied to blank CDs ever achieve such a long duration. The DVD, however, saves the full PAL Resolutionund must therefore synonymous absorb much more data. The different capacities of different media in order to qualify.
If you are burning in VCD MPEG1-style on a DVD that is compatible with standalone DVD players synonymous not particularly good. Since you could be synonymous to take the higher-quality DivX.
Maybe you do not have the opportunity to VHS of the movie directly to a standalone DVD recorder to dub? I think this version still one of the better-quality solutions.
