These findings, I agree 100% - especially the terrible Alias | Wavefront Mayaing simultaneous loss of sharpness (in Comparison to the Photo function) is synonymous to me noticed.

At least I think that the 550D for their money can do magic quite passable video. One has only to compare times with an EX1. Creates not any camcorder or Take a photo. I am still waiting times on the Lumix GH2.

Here are my practice test - Have the camera views with freizeitmäßig taken home, and thus a few photographs. Here are s.Abend and on the way to work synonymous emerged a few clips. I have rendered the raw material without any color correction or effects:
What you probably still can clearly see on YouTube, is the reduced sharpness and the strong Alias | Wavefront Mayaing (), especially in 720p mode. Wind Chill is the Resolutiondeutlich in HD. The photos, however, give no cause for complaint.
Well, maybe this is something in 1-2 years with the DSLRs to shoot ;-)

Well, the recorded MOV file is already full HD, but optical is the maximum of 1280x720. I'll take pictures tomorrow, the iso-resolution picture and film. Then one sees very clearly the difference.
If you always nice working with low depth and disappear so that all the fine structures in the bokeh, then the negative effects should be getting to grips with the camera. Quite painful, are really just long shots with lots of details - which are muddy, and at the same fibrillation the edges.
The video upload is still processing at YouTube - no idea how long this lasts.
