I would capture the material again, if that's possible. When converting mpeg4 to mpeg2 on the level of quality is lost unnecessarily.
Leaving aside the fact that the conversion of her only Nero Recode Nero himself will be possible.

Hello Wolfgang,
I had already captured the VHS in various ways, but only with Nero, I had strangely appealing quality. Otherwise, the picture was often interrupted by strips, etc..
Can I, as Nero again and back to mpeg2?
Andreas
Antwort von wolfgang:
Did you Halbbildstreifen? That would be normal and no problem - at a later Dartellung on a normal TV.
Nero has built at least in the full versions synonymous mepg encoder. So basically goes very well, which convert mpeg4 to mpeg2 too.
How good are I do not even know - I never use Nero for this conversion. And beat me not because of the agonyty - this way is not really recommended.

Hello Andrew,
MPEG4 is really no good basis for the DV editing. The simplest and best qualiativ will be to capture the VHS recordings to a new life - as a DV-AVI.

Hello Wolfgang and Mark,
First Thanks again for your tips. So those described in the Strip are actually capturing image disturbances. Looking s.PC I also noticed that not run Picture and sound synchronously. The MPEG 4 from nero ran flawlessly, however.
Picture noise may have something tuen with lack of memory? Fact, the only 256 MB.
Will now look at me, if my software the you of the proposed DV-AVI support.
