New Edius 5 (Part 1)
The new version includes Edius now the technology for a variety of video formats of today and tomorrow, covered a plethora of new programs and features that will delight the user.
Windows Vista Support
Edius 5 is completely s.die 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Vista. These were some of the applications such as Procoder Express and Xploder removed and replaced by new components.
The Windows Vista support has been synonymous to the current extended Edius hardware and makes for Edius NX and Edius SP systems to move to Windows Vista.
Unified and extended video format support
The Edius Pro and Edius Broadcast packets are now combined into a single merged version of the program and any Edius 5 users have the option of the latest format of the video market to be processed. The new version supports the following native format in the areas of import, processing and export:

High Definition Video, HDV, briefly, is a video format that is designed to HDTV video using conventional video recording equipment. GPUfx transitions to use the power of the GPU *. This technology enables high-quality 2D and 3D transitions with little or no time for the calculation of the effects. GPUfx is unique compared to the competition, since all the calculations and the generation effect completely in YUV 4:2:2 color space, from memory to the CPU and GPU, and back again synonymous. Other solutions switch between YUV and RGB color space, if the data between the CPU and GPU to be replaced.
Edius GPUfx underpins the philosophy that is always on maintaining the original picture and still respects an uncompromising real-time processing in the production of broadcast content.

Quick Titler Improvements
