Hello, I have been working for some time with Edius Neo 1.1 on my PC (P4 3 GHz, 1.5 GB RAM). But unfortunately the capture of HDV material (1440 x 1080 50i program stream) of my Canon HV30 problems. The process stops after a few seconds as always. In the transport stream (m2t) it works flawlessly. According to Canopus Forum synonymous, there's no solution for this and I have been so synonymous part. Therefore I have now for a few euros at Ebay purchased Sony Vegas 7. The aim's so easy to work (... I hope). Now to my real question: running Edius Neo and Sony Vegas 7 easily coexist on a system? Did someone "experience"? Edius Neo and Ulead Media Studio 7, which is also on the PC is running side by side without any problems. I'm not sure if it's still good ne third NLE "draufzupacken. Brauche Vegas just for capturing. Vegas Or Should I better install on my notebook?

If you just want to capture, you can find the synonymous with the free HDVSplit or CapDVHS make.

Yes I want the MPEG program stream capture!
Both HDVSpilt as synonymous CapDVHS only the MPEG transport stream (m2t), as far as I could read several times. With Edius Neo, you can not 1080/25p-Material eg in the transport stream capture. This is unfortunately only as a Program Stream, and it works so closely with me not with Neo. Will man of the Canon HV30 in HDV -1080/25p-Modus recorded material get into the PC, the program stream, I need just the right program to Vegas and they can be.

PS: Also can not hurt to have extra time with Sony Vegas "auseinader to set," It's not a great program. ... if synonymous with difficult and lengthy training period.

You live and learn. Always thought that from the HV30 only a transport stream (ie. M2t) on capture and were in this specific case, even 25p existed in this form, namely a two-compound half full, so the form of a normal HDV transport stream .
