Hello.
Times I need your help.
I work longer with Edius 3rd My question now is after I've found that there is already a newer version, whether it is worthwhile for me to new version, or if I possibly Adobe Premiere growth should be me.
Actually I'm completely satisfied with Edius, but however I am not clear what benefits me the new version brings, or whether Premiere better / worse.
Probably it's just, I think a changeover thing to cope with Premiere. Because at first glance I was not wircklich cope with the program ....

You can register for free so times in the Canopus forum scout, then what about the version 4 of Edius is written.
I myself have Edius Pro 3 in his last version, and Premiere Pro 2.0.
Clearly my recommendation: Premiere Pro 2.0, with many more creative possibilities and more meaningful functionality.

Time, aside from that this question in all forums always either for amusement or grave struggles leads:

I would only look at your best to remain Edius 3 - because it works, you have indicated for quite some time and so that you know. And if you during your production s.die limits of Edius encounters, then you should see these boundaries exactly rethink and then see if another NLE these requirements. Just a trial between the 2 systems out-and herzuprobieren brings nothing. This leads only to where you are now obvious: to total confusion ;-)

PS: Premiere Pro is a tool to pretty high levels. If you change, will you at an appropriate time to establish them. This is normal.

honestly, I think Willy has done a very good approach. Edius is a good and professional editing solution, and good films can be both with Edius 3.6x, Edius 4.x as synonymous Adobe Premiere 6.5 ähh 2 Schneider.

The discussion of whether a NLE better or worse than another, regularly causes Streiterein. It is neither objectively answerable, nor would such a response for each user equally valid. The best NLE for me is therefore a subjective one, which I with my desires and goals and implement the best can achieve. In my case it's a mix of Vegas and Edius.

b) I look at the Canopus Page Connect, what the new features are - and whether you need it. Example: if the newly implemented multi-camera editing for you at all important? Etc..
c) I am in times Canopus forum around, so what is written there.
And Motzerein I would insoferne ignore because they do not next help to understand what's really important for you would be / is.

All this is matter of opinion and taste.
The gross error of Edius 4 version are very quickly corrected, there appear several weeks after the 4.1 and so I am so happy as before.
Premiere waiting a very long time since you and when updates come to change the little problems. Bin mal gespannt, how long it takes until the crash in Sändigen Premiere Titler away. Negative record in first 2 are 7 crashes in a few hours!
