Frage von starquest: Hello!
I have with Encore / Photoshop a 16:9 DVD menu and am with the preview in Encore synonymous satisfied.
If I use the menu but in eimem (s.Mac) presents can seem blurred and the text parts of the graphics suffer significant loss of quality, like a heavily compressed JPEG.
The PS file is 720x576 pixels and a pixel aspect ratio of 1.46 (D1 / DV PAL widescreen).
The presentation of the player is set to 'original size' is set in and agrees with the dimensions of the preview in Encore (CS4) agree (no fullscreen).
(How) can the quality (the menus) influence?

Of MacOS is not necessarily a point, after you're in the DVD-creation should be directed. He is very verbuggt, I had many problems with it. Just try playing on a television with DVD player hardware. Or s.Mac with the VLC.
Did you Photoshop the correct settings selected (not square pixels, s.PAL adapted)?
Antwort von Enno Winde:
Trying times in the writings Photoshop Texteben not considered to be, but either the text rasters (right-click on the layer-> text scan) or to convert into a form (right-click on text layer -> in the form to convert). That helps at least to PAL monitors to reduce the flicker and made the whole thing smoother.
And trying times not 100% white to take but 96%.
