Frage von daca1315:Hello,
I have created a DVD with Encore 1.5 and burned, all without problems.
But in my relatively new Grundig DVD player, everything depends very choppy
And with many image disturbances at. I've tried DVD + and - blanks, + was better but still not acceptable!
In Encore you can not really make very many settings relating to compatibility!
Since I am under some time pressure, I am thankful for every tip.
Many greetings daniel

have no idea of, or your encore dvd players,
But maybe the video bitrate is too high? Speak come when you have the data rate of 9000kb / s (including audio), can cause problems for some players, probably to
others try rohling manufacturers ...
mal ne nem dvd with another prog. `burn?
Antwort von Strahlemann:
Further to be noted that you kopabilität for set-top players activate ...
And as a personal tip I give added DVD's WITH THE LOW-SPEED POSSIBLE TO BURN!
Antwort von Markus:
DVD's WITH THE LOW-SPEED POSSIBLE [...] BURN! I thought about the error-prone synonymous earlier. In the meantime however, I have a different experience. Tests with my former 4x burners were the following: If I were using 8x blanks, I was practically 100% of committee. In the DVD player, the picture stuttered occasionally, or the play was totally stuck. When I took from the same Manufacturer, however, the 4x-blanks, then out the result was entirely different: No. DVDs faltered, the result was always impeccable. Was Gebrannt each in 4-fold the speed. With 1-fold the speed I was synonymous with the 4x-blanks a certain committee.
The Manufacturer Verbatim wrote me to my question in November 2004 as follows:
"[...] The best burning results, by using the appropriate speed limit of the product specification. The recording surface (Dye) a 8x media is as optimized for use in an 8x burner, 4x that of a medium for a 4x burner, etc. The higher spin speed, "forcing" the drive manufacturer, for example the use of higher laser power over a shorter period of exposure. That is also reflected in our set of 8x and 16x DVD Dye account of an older recorder model is a necessary by-2x - if this is supported at all - rather worse firing results With these media provide.
For professional use / resale of the media, I advise you to use a massive number of compatibility tests (playback characteristics in consumer players to perform, etc.) and then acquire a large enough number of the media, which is about the life of the recorder. This ensures compatibility regardless of firmware updates and other uncertainties more secure.
To answer your second question: Even if the recording software is able to select a predetermined burn rate, if in doubt, always choose the so-called firmware of the recorder, the actual transmission speed from. Offers a software that possibility does not affect the user has no possibility under these parameters. This internal recorder software is significantly s.der quality or s.Gelingen a properly burned CDR or DVD involved, since the recorder to identify the media needs to select an appropriate burn strategy. Please look after so of time to time on the website of the manufacturer, if an update is available to process synonymous media that has been developed according to the manufacture of the drive can provide. [...] " Since I follow this advice, I've hardly had committee. The burners are tested the way Pioneer A-05 and A-06, the blanks used Verbatim DVD-R 4x and 4x/printable.
You will come to their own compatibility testing with different blanks hardly around to find the best for your burner and the resulting burning rate blank. As simple as that deceives us on advertising, the DVD issue is not, unfortunately.

Stop is just crap that does not offer Verbatim 4x more blanks. What do I do only with my NEC 1300A can burn, the maximum 4x ...?
I can not all buy a new burner for the nose!
Now Have some 8x Verbatim written with x 2.4. Hopefully the fine. Otherwise I erstmal go up to 4x ...

Antwort von Markus:
Hi Andy,
This
rate circus
The 4x blanks there were until recently as unprintable version on the spindle. As I am now on the Verbatim Web Site
Antwort von AndyZZ:
You be forgotten, Markus ...
At least here in Berlin, I've had in several media markets, no luck. Only 8x, which were once synonymous, of course, equal to slightly more expensive ...
Well, with us as consumers we can make it so, grumble ....

The problem you're not alone. My first burner was a Liteon. excellent results with the Verbatim 4x + R blanks. After only 8-fold to have been, had the good fortune over. Only after burning scrap.
The next writer was an LG. The results with the 8-fold Verbatim blanks were unfortunately only with 4-fold burn with the earlier results comparable.
After purchase the next batch of Verbatim 8-fold the trouble started up again. Then I switched to a back burner of the Teac herrorragende produce results. By now all makes.
The theater with DVD burner compatibility of the blanks and you can really only be described as a tremendous mess yet. Most did not even get it with as long as they do not test every burned DVD after burning, which was only go if the firmware of the burner at all can.
After each batch spent one must again make the search for a compatible blank? S.Ausschuss With the appropriate amount? This is how I really did not before.
A simple Comparison of burned data alone, says yes, unfortunately, nothing much, and when the burned disc after burning is beyond all the specifications it is clear that they are read within a foreseeable time frame will not be possible.
Greeting - Away
