No, the camera has a special interface for it.

I can not say if it safe with some effort.
the network pack is virtually a small computer or network server on linux base, ie it encodes the stream into mpeg4 and builds on the network. with the accompanying PC software "stream producer" can be up to 4 streams (or synonymous of dvd player, etc.) and mixed into the network / Internet.
after all this build would sure be cheaper but this is certainly not the size of the components not to mention.

My low-tech approach would probably be the following:
Camera -> (if necessary analog) picture radio link -> video mixer
Video Mixer -> Calculator -> Stream
Video Mixer -> Projectors
Otherwise, you will probably rather expensive ...
