Because of the partial drive noises disturbing the HV20, I am after an external Micro order. I fluctuate between the earwig II and the Canon DM50 (with intelligent shoe).
Can the Orwurm only Expanderbox operate with or without synonymous?
DM50 is the better quality than the internal Micro and how is it in comparison to other products there?
Where can I find a list of microphones, the Canon s.den special shoe fit?

because the HV20 does not s.die voltage mic jack for the supply of electret mic provides, you need the Expanderbox.
Did the way a SonyAnsteckmikro ECM 719 for my HV20 bought the drive because I was irritated by noise. Was previously spoils of the Panasonic NV-MX300, where nearly zero drive noise were audible. There was an external Micro not an issue.
The micro-cable of the ECM 719, you can order 3 x the display of the HV20 wrap. There is absolutely no audible whistling. See fxsupport.de/21.html
What is very positive s.Mic input the HV20: You can see the sensitivity of the mic input attenuator. Then you can start with line level it go. That means you can run a good mic preamp (with XLR inputs) used and searched in Comparison to the Intl preamplifier HV20 much less noise.

The noise seems to be a problem for small cams to be. Strange is that the noise in the HV20 times depending on the inclination and do not occur.
