What exactly is using the FX1 für nen Storage media? DV tape or memory stick? The latter is far too cost intensive or not?

The NEN little confused .... for me is the benefit of a DV tape as a cassette memory ... but there is no ... because then what should otherwise be used, please? That with the Memory Stick was only rhetorically ...

The expression cassette tape or memory Memory refers not to the storage media s.sich, but on the ability of some camcorder, additional data such as title, etc. on special cassettes with DV-chip memory. The FX1 has not this feature, so the reference to the Sony website "No memory cartridges."
