Hi, I have a new camcorder risen, (SonyHDR CX 550) and somehow have a similar or same problem as in the old camcorder. Shooting s.der seas or in the mountains. The sky looks more white and gray than blue, what he really is. The bright light kills the blue natural color of the sky. I used a polarizing filter now, but this has not brought much. A UV filter helps somewhat synonymous, but not really. Does anyone have experience with other filters that are appropriate here?

Use a gray or blue graduated filter (> Google).

I am still more for naturalness.
So I pull the blue graduated filter again. The gray filter is allowed to stay happy. The polarizing filter is synonymous still in order.
The correct exposure should not be neglected.
