Hi All,
My question concerns the continued use of Final Cut 4.5, after I Final Cut 6 for a Project used.
I have Final Cut 4.5 and projects in this version.
Now I have a new project, that in version 6 is running, the program is on an external hard drive installed.
If I realize that now in Final Cut 6 Open, will enable a subsequent access to Final Cut 4.5 and the handling of my old projects is affected?
Can I use both Final Cut versions installed and each one or the other to open and use?
Or, an opening of the new Project in FC 6 that my version of 4.5 or less is overwritten as a software update?
I have a project update of the new project of 4.5 to 6 Problems with Sound and Picture - In and Outpunkten had mono and stereo channels ...
and would therefore like my old 4.5 projects are reluctant to upgrade to 6.

I hope I understand you correctly but you can nciht simply duplicate the project then it can try it with 6 and if anything should work nciht then can the first project with 4.5 continue ..
