Hello, I've just installed FCE4 and make my first steps. I'd like to direct my camcorder recording of non-tape-but 1:1. If I> Recording> Directly going, only a display "Waiting for Timecode" and nothing happens. Direct recording is not possible with FCE4? With iMovie'07 but it's synonymous!
Perhaps' ne stupid question, but simply do not come next!

Put simply ne cartridge, simply order any time code is passed, the tape must not run.
The Camera reported the video program, that a cassette has been inserted.
So for me it's working. Test times.
