Frage von KlausZ:I cut grad a contribution which was recorded in HDV (1440x1080i) and would like a few old scenes in DV (720x576) are involved with. Now the proportions are not identical and Final Cut Pro fits in the Project (DV-PAL was established as the smallest common denominator) yes' only 'the Resolutionan. Is there an elegant way, both format to bring them into compliance, without (external) action to start the conversion?
The DV I do not want to inflate due to HDV quality. Furthermore, the source material anyway on a standard DVD.

Elderly, less well-resolution images do quite well as a PIP, for example, with frame and shadow on a more neutral (SW-) background photo. Then, as it were floating in the air space in the background.
Antwort von KlausZ:
Sorry, with 'old' meant I was not present in poor quality, but only in an earlier ;-) The DV format recordings are ok (they are with a XM2 been) and should be fully incorporated into the film will be - so real Formatmix HDV / DV. PiP as it would make little sense.
Antwort von RickyMartini:
Then bring the HDV material to DV 16:9. The 4:3 material would be s.den pages get black bars (on PiP feasible).
This should as far as the requirements.
The PiP will prevent the XM2 material not in the general consideration.
Give it a try s.einem DV 16:9 Project itself.

I would be everything in a 422-ProRes sequence (PAL) with anamorphic 16:9 chuck. All computer hardware and double click by a factor of 1:33 scale, HDV material, which in the ProRes sequence is thrown, to auto anamorphic PAL.
