Frage von strohy:some effects in the "Preview Monitor" bekomm I just put in a red "error":
"The Effect" XXX (eg flower) "Unable to render: Your hardware can not be fixed with the size and bit depth rendering.
My system is certainly powerful enough - because it has already worked. I have the problem since I was a second graphics card in my Mac have (the standard ATI) in addition to my previously existing NVIDIA 8800GT.
Once again I use the ATI to expand - do the effects all again.
Has a solution for this problem?
It can not be that because of Final Cut I am on my 2nd graphics card must renounce? : (

hallo strohy ....... although I have unfortunately no solution yet, but I would be synonymous with a happy answer ....
I have a Mac Pro with 2x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT and Final Cut wants to run 3 monitors. (2 for work and 1 as a video preview)
Now the dilemma: I have the 2 monitors connected and although each s.eine .. the graphics card goes on Panther and synonymous with Final Cut ..... only effects happened to me the same as you ...
This problem can be solved for me by saying the two monitors connected s.eine graphics card ....
But I will actually three have! Gibts in Final Cut probably a limitation on a graphics card?
Be me tomorrow another DVI adapter pick, then I try it with three monitors ..... we will see next
why you use actually 2 graphics cards with only 2 monitors! has not synonymous Geforce 2 DVI outputs?
Further ideas or tips I would be happy ....

And I have a 128er firmly soldered into an iMac, familiar and
render the message
anyway! That is my only one real story, like most in Final Cut Pro. HDV footage and ProRes timeline. The material is displayed in real time. If you want to render a complex-Effect ( "bloom") that's not working. Only when the timeline (or at least the clip in question) actually already rendered to ProRes
is, how does everything with his computer.
Had not thought that the auto MacPro not the "right" GraKa used. Can you not somehow assign manual?
The real-time -
representation of the effect, would have, quite naively concluded with the graphics card, which represents the graph. With "rendering" says Final Cut Pro RT-display, and because of HDV is 4:2:0 and ProRes 4:2:2 under
additional change all pixels (the effect) is something of a balancing act required. Not?
