Frage von soahC:Hey folks,
I would have a short question. I am a Final Cut Project to consolidate. The Project consists of 100 sequences (and sequences ONLY, no music, no raw materials ...). The sequences are from about 10 different projects. Since in these 10 projects, incomprehensible chaos, I just all of the final sequences (the 100 units) in a Project is collected.
The 100 sequences are located in a folder. If I right-click on that folder and make the media manager says he selected me as follows:
Project: about 1.0 TB
Now there are quite a lot of settings that I am a little overwhelmed. I've tried the following:
- Media Copy
- Render files omit
- Master clips outside of the project (or something similar)
I know the settings, unfortunately, not all accurate, but s.Ende he told the consolidated Project hätt about 150 GB. That could well go.
So I have chosen the location, etc. and click OK button. Then he gave me a new Project is created, but unfortunately no files are copied.
I'm sorry that everything is a little confused, but maybe someone knows of course consolidate with in Final Cut Pro

I'm sorry that everything is a little confused, but maybe someone knows of course consolidate with in Final Cut Pro It is so with the knowledge. You only have a bunch of old projects in the form of "master" Timelines in a new, overarching project to bring it to consolidate. How do you propose? Du Importierst the sequences in the browser? Because an object in the browser displays is not necessarily a medium
used to. For example, you can at any time with footage of Rückschrittaste delete while it is still not in the timeline was. My understanding of the hierarchy must be the sequences until a new project sequence should be considered so that the material is copied.

So, I have a new project is created by all the finals from the whole sequences, scattered projects are located. So I have the project "complete". In the folder is the "sequences". Then I opened the "Project 1", search me daruas the 10 final sequences, duplicate it and move the duplicates in the folder "Seqeunzen" from my "complete" Project.
What I would like now is that Final Cut Pro only me (in the 100 final sequences) of the raw material used pieces of music, SFX, etc. into a new folder.

I do not collect the last of the best five years, but upon completion of a project. I just save the project file and a variety of sounds and graphics. The rest I leave it to go offline. Batchcapturen is not strenuous. The media manager, I use only to restore (1 x occurred, a wedding). As always, what I wanted to say: When used and thus worthy of protection for a Project is not what the browser in a folder in front of hinrottet, but what in the project-related sequence is located. Imported sequences are treated as unused clips. So instead of into a bin the sequences to a new browser-pull sequence.

I nix are to:)
So again: it is 1 Project. This consists of approximately 12 different projects.
It is about a Spanish course. This is in about 12 different series, and for every series, there is a Project. Altogether there are 100 Consequences.
Now I have taken out all the projects (series), the sequences collected finals (I'm only for the last 3 series entered in the Project, because the other editors in the country no longer is).
These sequences, I have finals all in a new Project copied.
Now I want the project simply consolidate, I will say that he sent me the material used in a folder. The Project will be consolidated for any subsequent changes should be repealed, but the raw material (at least 1 TB) should be deleted.
I do not know whether I am perhaps wrong expression, but just understand I consolidate!
Antwort von Axel:
But, sure. Only the consolidation is only for
one project, not for several. But projects can nest. It is a question of hierarchy. The joke is on the consolidation, all material included
in the Project konsilidierenden to "complete" is
not used, is not synonymous to copy. As a "used" one of everything in the "Sequenz1" of "complete" appears. If this sequence is empty, no material copied. Select all the old clips from the browser and drag it onto the icon of Sequenz1. Securing, consolidating.
