Easy Setup: HDV - 1080/50i. In the sequence settings do you Halbbilddominanz on the "No".
Nothing else,
no 1920x1080. HDV is 1440x1080.
If you have many effects and the colors you only highly variable, it is recommended as Pro Res 422 codec use. Especially if the format is a DVD!

Another approach to Ausreizen the tape format, which is already synonymous with DV, there is the recording in a "progressive" or "Cine" mode, in which all 1920 times 1080 pixels are sampled simultaneously (like 720p) instead of one after another ( " interleaved) half read out. Again, the storage
HDV-compliant, which is achieved is that the full cut in two fields in a row on the tape is stored.

Sequence: Normally HDV 1080 25p
If you do not have great changes in name, for example, only a simple color correction, fonts and the like, it is enough if you stay in HDV. Important: No automatic background rendering, but the real ausreizen. If a red bar, ignore this and the basis of the Picture Frame Preview (Play Head position) judge. Only s.Schluß render everything.
At 25p, there are no problems, this directly from the HDV timeline s.Compressor to pass for a DVD, standard preset, as you would "i" export. The scaling does not need any odd lines values (as in "i") to be considered. The result can be with a different codec little better. H.264 for HD-format, but for synonymous's Web, is somewhat problematic. Read my question and answers Wowus in

With a good workflow for compositing (Composite Modes in Final Cut Pro or Shake after transfer) for HDV, I can not say much. Since I make a few experiments and open a separate thread.
