Hello,
I would like to buy a digital camcorder, I've pretty much here and in other forums relating to read and I've now for a MiniDV cassette with a decision (because I like my films would like to edit, and yes this is quite difficult with other camcorders)
So now I know and synonymous already that I do not need FireWire interface, which my laptop does not have.
Can s.Laptop retrofit? And if so what exactly I need there? My laptop is of Medion MD 96630 with the Vista operating system.
And then another question, because then when I had my camcorder synonymous and an interface for the laptop, then CIH need a specific program for editing and what could you recommend?

In terms of post is the MiniDV format still s.besten. However, there are hardly any good new MiniDV camcorder to buy. (Apparently, the manufacturer assumes that film with slightly higher demands today want to film in HD.) There are almost MiniDV only meager equipped entry-level cams that can not seriously recommend (missing microphone input, etc.).
If you're looking for high-quality MiniDV, you will see you on the young second-hand market must scout.

Why Canopus converts this stuff first in his HQ codec for? It was about the ease of processing, not about possible quality losses caused by the Rekodierung! An Intermediate Codec is totally unnecessary, if the editing software Smart rendering support.
Also covered losses due to quality at SDTV Rekodierung hardly at - above all, not an amateur. You must be synonymous times a little realistic!
The days of single-and tape recorder are over - it's just something difficult to understand if the last umpteen years only such procedures are known and up.
