Frage von hartiberlin:Hello,
times had recently with a friend, the one LG DVD Recorder
is transferred via firewire jack a DV camcorder tape 1:1
on DVD in high quality MPEG-2, but there was only
on the DVD somehow a very Klötzchenartige quality out,
as if he only takes half frame s, or only 4:1:1 color resolution
brings, or only 352x576 or so ...
But we had adjusted to the highest quality.
Could it be that you still synonymous with the Model
Resolutionvon 352x576 to 720x576 via firewire EIngang
can or must change?
Unfortunately, now I do not know exactly what it is for a
LG DVD recorder was, but as someone who, at the 350 Euro
had taken 1-2 years ago or so ...
What was synonymous annoying, that he put some of my films
another DV camcorder, a Panasonic NV-DX 100
not accepted via firewire input and had
said, "Wrong format". The film was probably 32 Khz frequency sound ....
Is that all DVD recorders so via firewire so poor image quality
And so bad compatibility?
Which DVD recorders can accept anything via Firewire
and provides almost 1:1 at the highest level of quality?
So, 1 hours in almost the same quality DV tape to DVD-R
or DVD + R?
Does it want to have quality backups of my DV tapes.
Thank you.
Antwort von Peter S.:
As a backup medium is a DVD inappropriate. Even the Manufacturer of the blanks and give up the burner as durability. 5 years on. Some DVDs are unreadable after several months.
Simply use the S-video input of the recorder, which should provide at least a block-free picture. My Philips DVD recorder has only analog inputs. The picture is not as good as the cheap recorders with Firewire input.
MFG Peter

DVD ± R and durability DVD-RAM Is of course silly, if it can describe the relevant DVD recorders no DVD-RAM. ;-)

ADVC-55 or DVD recorder?
