I have just been briefly tried the search function to no avail. The question is quite simple and I am therefore almost a little embarrassing:
I want to buy a Firewire cable, but since now there seems to be different (eg, 6-4 or 6-6) on what should I look for there? Thanks in advance schonmal

The camcorder has a 4 pin input / output, and your PC?
It (that is synonymous 4-4)
Or do you need synonymous nor a FireWire PCI card for the PC.

I have pointed out the connection just times and viewed on the web seem to be both right and left of the 3 contacts, together that is 6, therefore I must therefore create a 6-4 cable.
But now I'm just packing again in the basement to look for a cable while it really was and I missed it:)

But comparisons with the GS500 is the 4-pin FireWire, the 6-pin is much larger (about 1x0, 5cm).

So I have set apart again with my cam, so this is only the USB cable, which is so synonymous with me in the Instructions.
But after all this, what I've read here, I'm pretty sure that I need a 6-4 cable and I have such a synonymous already I think the order will fit.
