Hi folks,
'm now a little on this forum, but still not the solution to my problem found. : o (
Have a Pasnasonic NV-GS27 (with USB & Firewire)
My PC (with SP2) has firewire on board. (MSI K7N2 Delta Platinum)
So I put the cam via firewire to the system, the hard drive öckelt a bit and that's it.
In device manager nothing appears under Imaging devices.
Put me on it via USB, it recognizes what the GM. (But I want Firewire)
I have stated herein Windows drauf lease made no change.
I get the smallpox ..... has a now-ne solution to the already often mentioned topic found SP2 vs. Firewire?
I'm grateful for the help.

You must install the file 1394_filter.zip. Is a kind of patch for nForce2 boards with Firewire. Did with my EPoX EP8 RDA + with-SonyTRV50E brilliantly.
Maybe yes can I get this file to it here.

The best and easiest way to C: \ extract.
Then on the Device Manager nv1394.inf, as described in the images, install.
Then in the DOS mode and of C: \ from the command toggle 0 or toggle 1 Views. The toggle.exe you can make sense only in DOS mode ( "Prompt"). The command must be executed in the same path, in which the toggle.exe are synonymous.
Remote diagnosis is always difficult. But has it helped me.
Your error message with the lack of hardware information, I eh not quite. What hardware is here meant?

I just did it, as described in the pictures. Update drivers and the exact path, or the Drivers nf1394.inf elected. No clue what hardware when the error is.

again to give a short feedback on my problem SonyHC96 and no Firewire connection to: the problem is solved!
It was damned s.der docking station, which was of Sonyausgetauscht and we're up and I have already doubted s.meinem mind.
