Frage von tobsen:Hi,
the following problem:
When I was in Premiere Pro 1.5, Firewire card, subscribe, will be audio and video output on this card. Once the card is no longer connected, is used again to the onboard sound.
I use Premiere Pro 2.0, so the sound is always output OnBoard, synonymous if the card is connected (ie from the FW card is only video, no sound).
Would s.and for themselves so as not the problem if the output via FW would not always be delayed a bit (why actually?).
Does anybody know if I really need a change in Premiere or something if it's a different problem? Since the only difference is the premiere version, so I type in the Software ...
Am grateful for tips!

What do you have connected via Firewire to one another?
If you use multiple audio devices, you must be in your program that
Select the correct audio device.
Antwort von tobsen:
Hm
So I connected the onboard 6-pin FW port of my i975Xa-YDG AOpen Motherbaords with the 6-pin FW port of my Canopus
Antwort von steveb:
switching times onboard audio in the bios completely out and see if you can dial in Premiere 2 DV audio.
Antwort von tobsen:
I had the full on-board sound disabled in Device Manager, and then 2 at the premiere start bleating about the lack of sound drivers and finished. The FW card was plugged at the time and recognized.
Represents a change that again because if I change in bios? Imho not, but one learns to like =)
I
switched to onboard sound (or I'm coming not at Select Premiere purely assign ...) under "Output Devices" DV only, not DV - Audio. Or did you mean this? But as I said, jumping the setting after you close the dialog box back again.
All very mysterious.
btw: Does anybody know how the delay is generally justified the video output via FW? It is my experience, neither of the CPU and GPU of the subject, I always come to around 9 frames. Utilization is synonymous somewhere below 50%, still more than a GB of memory free, disk access is not worth talking about.
Seems a problem of standards "to be firewire? At a trade show last week I saw a Matrox card, which has spent the whole story in real time. Really real. A cost of 1,700 euros ... I'm going to save time then ^ ^

Hi!
Have just speculated about the same problem ... And here comes the solution!
About the menu items
Project> Project Settings> General clicking in the window that opens up right on the button
"Playback Settings" And then move from radio button
"Desktop Audio" to
"External Device - Audio ... And that's it! No settings or disabling the BIOS needed! Hope I could help you more, otherwise halt to all others who have the same problem.
Keep on rolling,

Hello,
synonymous occurs to me yet, so often that it is an offset between Sound and Picture in the preview, of varying system to system.
In my Sony Vegas, I can simply stop taking the Preview Device -> Sync offset with a value of between 1-8 frames offset.
So probably nothing unusual ...
schöne Grüße,
Max

So, today I finally got around to look at me your prediction.
These complete "Project Settings" are already mal ne feine Sache ... just why so hidden? : rolleyes: now I have my erstmal the preview on the 2nd Monitor laid, the HDV material looks like peeled from the egg ... 1280x1024 ... so far I have always used a FW card to play out in real time. But then ... And the delay is synonymous fixed.
So, cream of the very first tip, THICK BIG THANKS! =)
A rather general question: Why is the issue on principle, FW delayed?
The system can viell are synonymous, but in any case, not only ....
Someone an idea?
