Hi,

I was just on eBay numerous Adapterkabel discovered on a Page and a Firewire on the other a USB Male have ( siehe Beispiel).

Da die Sache aufgrund unterschiedlicher Übertragungsprotokolle äußerst fragwürdig ist, habe ich kurzerhand mal einen der Verkäufer angeschrieben:

I suspect almost, that this is profiteering and fraud. The cable is widely sold with the notice that such devices have to support something that no device is known to me. Furthermore, the selling price is relatively low, so that hardly a synonymous defrauded buyers on the idea, would have recourse to the seller to take. After all, the buyer and even guilt, because he ignored the notice and not seen it, whether his equipment for this cable are suitable.

Because so synonymous with USB a power supply is present, it would not surprise me if such an adapter cables even the computer interface of a camcorder may damage. Ganz schön mies!
