Nutshell, is the picture quality with identical sensor worse than at HC3. The tester leads back primarily to the AVCHD encoding. Despite the external micro-and Headphones port Ergbnis a pretty sobering, especially since you can edit the material virtually anywhere yet. So it looks as if HDV will remain for the time being the first choice for budget-HD.

No. I have not had the camera in hand to test more precisely, yes've written this is a preliminary test at the latest VAD are over the model. Since I am in a great many camera's test share the same views as the testers from the magazine in my own shooting, I generally confirmed their pre-test times here.
If a model is convincing then before the SR 1, I'm curious what has supposed Sonydabei write to a DVD that can read in the moment very few devices (as described above, the PS 3 & Blue Ray drives) and the legendary min at 15 Recording Time in the best bit rate (double layer )....

Yes you're right host is always ne question of money.
What makes me even more annoying is that with AVCHD, without any problems either 720 50 or 1080 50 P i are possible. For me, for 1400 ¬ with 720 / 50 P very interesting.
VAD writes in the latest edition of the UX 1, the only 1080 50 i can, I could not control it yet, am still on vacation. In the SR 1 (yes HDR SR 1) is not likely to be different.
What again is funny because Sonybei wrote Sony.de SR 1 and either 720 P or 1080 Well i would not be the first mistake on the Internet at Sony.de. Times when comparing cameras Sony.de. And I have a customer last SonyW 30 / 50 compared, because the customer really wanted to know every little thing between the two models - besides the screen. What was there was very serious, so many mistakes can not be accommodated at 3 A 4 pages (actually, GN / Belichtungsmessarten etc). Yes because I prefer to look over at digital camera or digicam, the Gehlerquote is much smaller.
And another thing to HDV, and even the camera's are expensive but you can already identify synonymous differences - if you will, I know many guests (the inveterate MiniDv Freaks & Betacam tuen filmmakers are hard to with the new technology anzufreuden (precisely SR 1 & FX 7 or SonyPDW F 330
XDCAM HD - Betacam and similar successor) yes, the old man has always worked so well and the price / performance hit, but not to down the new system needs to be ongoing.

Have received today the SR 1, the first glimpse through the giant LCD does have joy times (yes, the ne Pana GS 400 or what?), Use at last focus ring (synonymous for the exposure and 2 other things, but no zoom) . I found the menu quite clear, although it is really part of Dopelt shows peaking is nice, synonymous to the microphone input and headphones output, or zebra. Manual sound controls I could not find, but a microphone shock.
Go 4 h on the 30 GB hard drive in the best quality at 15 Mbit / sec, I found the picture very impressive (For MPEG 4 with 15 Mbit / sec), so many others with HDV MPEG 2 recording has been in small pans Picture shows worse with plenty of artifacts and aberrations, even against MiniDV Pal has no chance to swing it. We'll see what the various forums and my magazines to her.
A closer reading of the instructions began, the frustration yes 1080i Sony Specific - nix with 720 P with 50 full frames, my intuition tells me Sonywird long set to 1080 / 50i, perhaps the first of Panasonic AVCHD camera is set to 720 P, or both.
According allegedly AChD format no problem.
