Which codec is it s.besten for the presentation s.Computern suitable? And videos that are larger than PAL. I have a Pal video embedded in a mask, which is larger than Pal and now I am thinking, with which codec do I calculate the video now. Has anyone of you experience with something?

PS: It will run only on computers as television compatibility, which would not be given by the resolution anyway, is not necessary.

This was supposed to with all modern codecs (DivX, Quicktime, WMV) be easily possible. But can try synonymous simple - if the codec does not want (for example s.PAL DV / NTSC is bound), it makes itself felt.
I would make the decision depends of practical issues: It may be assumed that, on Macs, QuickTime is the de facto standard on Windoze Mills WMV. Personally, I s.liebsten is DivX, but that potential recipients must install the codec of your video.
If you need the video for you alone, I would do with a short sequence of a trial run and decide according to picture quality / size / computation.

If the video is to be cut to stay, then I would export it as an AVI with the Lossless codec HuffYUV. What I've realized video trailer up to 1280 × 960 pixels, what can an average PC is still clean play.

For any treatment I would not be synonymous to the HD intermediate codec ignored. Around the Canopus HQ - which may indeed full HD resolution, or synonymous to the Cineform codec, if the synonymous only to HDV2 Resolutionkann.
An output form could then obviously be synonymous mpegs. Can now be mpeg2 and mpeg4 synonymous. But in all cases must stop s.System appropriate codecs installed.
wmv is certainly an option that could be used synonymous for output.
