Frage von richardb:Hello,
have the opportunity to take a Canon HF10 NTSC to buy. Could I still in Germany s.einen LCD TV (Toshiba 52ZF355D) join, and edit the material s.PC? What disadvantages do I have?
I thought HDMI was with the whole PAL / NTSC-story over.
Regards,
Richard

Could I still in Germany s.einen LCD TV (Toshiba 52ZF355D) join, and edit the material s.PC? The latter in any case, because the computers are television standards no preference. Whether the camcorder synonymous s.Deinem Television will work, should the user know. The website of Toshiba there for the HDMI port as follows:
Connections: [...]
" 3x HDMI 1.3 (including HDCP) with 1080p (24/25/30/50 /
60Hz) / 24p compatible / Lip Sync / Deep Color / xvYCC
[...]
The 60 Hz indicate that it will be possible with NTSC recordings that play back television via HDMI.
What disadvantages do I have? The same, the other NTSC filmmakers in countries with 50 Hz mains frequency are synonymous (that is lately quite often asked, so I make it short): pictures in artificial light flicker and you can not be his own recordings (without prior conversion) with the recordings of others (PAL) videographers mix.

I found the following:
"If you shoot 60i (NTSC) and convert to 50i (PAL) that conversion is extremely difficult. Broadcasters use equipment costing $ 50,000 + and the result still is not perfect.
If you shoot 24p (NTSC) and speed it up to 25p (PAL), the conversion is trivial. For HD, the resolution is identical, so you just play the same frames slightly faster. In this case, apart from the small speed-up (which PAL viewers are used to film material for anyway) the quality is identical. "
Because nowadays the majority of television and projector can display NTSC, and a conversion of 24p to 25p no problem seems to be the purchase is a NTSC device made of technical terms is not precluded. I see that right?
Antwort von robbie:
yet.
24p is quite a bit strange (search help then next) and the will, especially in specific situations, a bucking and find no such bewegungne soft as in 25i. has with the i and p to be done.
whether you want to do it all, just a cheap camera to get somewhere, and anyway you still have to pay taxes on it, making them equally expensive is like a pal camera with full warranty purchased with us, lies with you, finally.
I must say I rate of such actions from 100%. Personal opinion.
Antwort von richardb:
The HF10 is surely synonymous pal only 25p and i do not what do you mean by this?
Antwort von Markus:
The HF10 is surely synonymous pal only 25p and not i. 25i, the new name for his 50i. I personally think it is synonymous confusing times when one time and the other appears, without further classification ...
Antwort von Bernd E.:
... 25i, the new name for his 50i ... Always according to the motto "Why easy if it's synonymous awkward?" Canon describes the HF10 (0), however, continue as 1080/50i-Camcorders.
