Frage von Wildlifer:Hello
I am now s.einem snowboard movie and now I have asked myself the following question:
Do I actually for a stamping job get one GEMA permit if the whole music (background music for snowboarding movie) of amateur musicians who I know well, there? Synonymous, and the video content is only of me?
Thanks in advance
Greetings, Bruce
Antwort von oliver II:
Hi Bruce,
when the musicians play their own compositions, and no foreign compositions really. It makes sense, but a hedge so that the musicians give you a written confirmation that the compositions without using third-party rights are affected and you may not use them synonymous.
Antwort von Markus:
See synonymous this posting:
... unless these musicians have already registered at the GEMA
Antwort von Wildlifer:
If the tape is registered at the GEMA and are just as synonymous secured their titles then you'd have a purely legal point of view, to pay Gema. (Is usually the case when the tape has already released an album Offizelles, or close.)
But since you just have to ask again at the tape, if not so, then isses no preference, then you really only brauchts the OK of the tape.
Antwort von Markus:
If the tape is reported in Gema ... That alone is sufficient.
... and has since secured its just synonymous Title ... That is no longer necessary.
Antwort von Wildlifer:
Of course I have to secure the title, and indeed when I let him play the Gema.
Because when I look in my room, the absolute hit of writing no one knows and write tomorrow, coincidentally the same one and sends it to gema I look into the empty.
And if you a tape entitled "writes" of the Gema is unknown, then you can piss so synonymous net's leg.
Antwort von Wildlifer:
And if you a tape entitled "writes" of the Gema is unknown, then you can piss so synonymous net's leg. It then may just be nothing but trouble with the band name, which will then be just a different name for the song:)
Antwort von Wildlifer:
So summarized:
I need neither a PRS license for Video and Music (if the rights of Picture and Sound belong to me, myself, etc., and filmed as I said the bands I know of), nor a license for Alterabschränkungen, so I have a snowboard film production and a stamping plant reproduction can be ...
Is that correct or merged with, I lay my minimal legal knowledge wrong?
PS: Thanks for the many responses
Greetings, Bruce
Antwort von Wildlifer:
Yes, just soferf the tape is not registered at the GEMA and none of their songs is sort registered.
If the "only" a local garage band, and that had nothing s.Hut with the Gema, then it is for now completely synonymous says no preference what the Gema, for as raicht entirely in fact, from which the artist gives you the OK.
Antwort von Wildlifer:
Oke, thank you many times ...
Now I feel really like a stone from the heart.
The press shop announced on its website (www.clusterwork.de) Vervielvältigung would be (apparently) with GEMA license possible. But since this is not so, not yet covered in the audit cost of GEMA, making me very relieved.
Thank you, greeting, Bruce

Thank you, greeting, Bruce But these are uu two different shoes, because here two different Gema FEES of the talk is. Sounds confusing, but the pressing plant, it may be no preference which you have music on the DVD and see if you have to royalties or licenses. This is entirely in your area of responsibility.
The license fee falls independently of Gema s.welche Music or something similar you use. That's about you than if you bought a CD / DVD disc or burner, so those are always a few cents synonymous Gema in it, "hidden"
Antwort von Wildlifer:
In my opinion, it could be synonymous with the stamping plant no preference, but got into a bit of possession of contract sonem GEMA license, otherwise nothing Vervielfätigung ...
But probably leave time a lawyer behind it, who does understand this German lawyers ...
I thank you again sincerely for the many responses
