I've got time for a general animation problem, for which I certainly could not find a good solution until now.
In the Appendix you will find a 5-second example in which (an animated object, orange) and (a stationary object, and blue) with (a further Composition, in red) is connected.
The red Cmposition is using the Parent-layer function with the animated object moved along, but must be constantly aligned using rotation and scale to the stationary object.
In my example I use for this alignment, five rotation keyframes, and a really satisfying result I get only through a frame-by-frame animation.
I believe that the solution is somewhere in the graph editor is to be found, or are there besides the parent layer function synonymous a target function?
