Hello, there is a reasonable professional video editing program, the Open Source / Freeware is? (For graphics, there's Blender why it should not be synonymous for some video type?)

To what extent the various open-source editing programs available for Linux, as a "professional" may apply, eludes my knowledge. In the freeware section, there is for the Mac and Windows XP the program FreeDV Avid.

Just watch out if you free of Avid to a paid version of Avid change. The pro versions of the files I'm not free to read. Is happening to me then I had the whole movie again 1.5 hours cut. Otherwise, Avid Free DV to jedenfall a good choice.
