In principle, Joey23 right. The gray card should reflect the ambient light. If I were a very warm ambient light, I am synonymous ergo a "warm gray." The Color correction, I then used as a reference value neutral and as a comparison, the "warm gray" of the location. This makes it easy for me, my neutral synonymous filmed material to be drawn.
BUT:
What the tool is good: If you are at turning the White Balance CONSCIOUSLY want to bend, for example, a slightly cooler overall mood to create, you can time your Iphone shortly before the Optics and hold on a ausgeählten a Color White Balance make.
