Frage von Thomas G. Wahn:Good evening / morning
s.Samstag have a video presentation in front of me and still working feverishly s.feinschliff. Since there is text in the video stills, I would like to know if there is a directive for how long how much text appears
must remain so that an average person it is best to read.
Are there any guidelines?
eg 20 characters = 10 sec, etc??
About Answers, I would be delighted.
Thank you!

depends on the total amount. I think a longer shutter times important.
What images run behind the text? So many characters per this many seconds can be said package (imho) not. too important) is synonymous distance, size and dahinterlaufende images (deflection factor. Actually, it can never be long enough.
............ And so now, read this text again and stop the time.
Then I would min time. count by 2 more times 3 ......... yes it will come with all of them :-)

This is rather "a matter of feeling"
Look at the result, or let someone else "are kontroll" and judge ausm belly, if that's too long or too short.

20 characters = 10 sec As fast can read my 5-year niece!
For the identification of an interviewees Text
"Daniel jet engines, inventors' In fact, I would take 5-10 seconds.
For an ordinary translation subtitles
"At fourteen, I've worked here in the workshop." 2-3 seconds. The more is subtitled, the shorter the title can be. It is important to take good readability (if in doubt, outlined letters) and that no one writes: "At 14, I know ..." - The numbers here irritate graphically. And each prefers only one clear sentence.
