Newsmeldung von slashCAM:H.264 encoding via CUDA with Elemental Accelerator on Nvidia Quadro cards of thomas - 11 Jul 2009 10:50:00 The Elemental Accelerator is the successor to the RapiHD plug-ins for Premiere Pro CS4, and (to the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC compression, the baseline speed up Main or High Profile) and decoding in conjunction with an Nvidia Quadro graphics card significantly. It is seamlessly integrated in the form of a plug-in Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 (; PC / MAC) - Next to the H.264 DE-/Compression the decoding of MPEG-2 also accelerated by GPU - and therefore out of all synonymous workflow based format as AVCHD, HDV and XDCAM. Tests of the H.264 encoding via Nvidia GPU in Comparison to quad core CPUs between 2-11 times faster. The plugin can be purchased in a bundle with an Nvidia Quadro or for around $ 2000

Just stupid that you need to ne Quadro card. So the home user views look back into the tube. Here you can get synonymous with a simple middle class GraKa tidy performance, as shown Badaboom Converter.
AMD / ATI eat again a step ahead with their beta plugin that runs on almost all ATI graphics cards.

nö since you're wrong, the plugin you want to sell of this same company for the money not more expensive and not less ..
Cuda is or as available as an SDK, only the Manufacturer must take care of this.
CyberLink LOILO, PEGASYS and much more. Cudaunterstützung have been on offer.
Other Manufacturers are working with the SpurceEngine .. of ATI itself is not much to see and if dan in rather poor quality

Hello!
Strange that when you encode all look just the speed, and None are more interested in the output quality.
I guess that I hinbekomme with the appropriate settings, synonymous with a CPU-only encoder such quick runs.
And sometimes by the way: The resulting bit rate alone is not a quality characteristic.
For my part I think the Komprimierzeit for _sehr_ unimportant. It depends on the quality.
In decoding speed is much, much more important, the work must be real!

To me the quality more important than the encoding speed.
Blocked clips can be stolen from me!
