Frage von Vaido:Hello everybody!
I try just a 24 minute DV-PAL video with the compressor in an H.264 video conversion.
There are two profiles to choose from:
1. Quicktime H.264: This can not adjust the data rate. The output file was 2.5 GB in size.
2. H.264 for DVD Studio Pro: The data here can vary. I had the default setting of 7.5 Mbit / s and the sound as PCM. The output file was 1.5 GB in size.
Problem: Even with the small data is the video for H.264 but still relatively large or? For Comparison: The MPEG-2, the size and with 6.2 Mbit PCM also 1.5 GB.
The theory I could still H.264 with 65% of the file size go down to the same quality as MPEG-2 to reach.
What setting should I choose and I will be with the data rate for H.264 really go down so far?
Regards,
Vaido
Antwort von PowerMac:
You can of course in the compressor the data for each preset change.
What do you want to spend? Simply a H.264 file for the computer?
Antwort von TiMovie:
A tip would be - get visualhub - as you can, among other things synonymous specify the file size!
Antwort von Vaido:
Ok, I've found the settings: Under Encoder -> Video -> settings can limit the data rate.
Thank you!
