Frage von fragile:Hi,
we want) in August, a few product-shooting videos (about 3-5 minutes per video track. These are to run on, inter alia, 106cm plasma at trade shows.
We had therefore SonyHDR s.eine - Camera designed for production.
Unfortunately, I have little experience with postpro / editing / DVD production, so my basic question about the best practice to be able to spend the camera footage to the best plasma.
So far, I imagine the workflow as follows:
Film on the cam in 1080 and P-format and 16:9 Aspect -> capture from the camera via firewire to our editing computer with Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 -> Editing -> DVD production with Encore 2.0.
In the details but I have read here, there is something to note ... with which codec am I working s.besten consistently? How do I format the data of s.Encore Premiere Pro? MPEG 2? Can herkömmlcihe DVD (MPEG2) format even handle HD rates and progressive format? The plasma accept even progressive images, so I would like to möglcihst possibly early (already in the camera) with progressive pictures to work to save me de-interlacing etc too ....
schonmal thank you in advance for any tips & more!
Greeting
Frank

Ok,
Yesterday got a 2-hour HDV workshop of a Sony product manager participated, who treated vsgenau the HVR-Z1E.
It recommends the 1080/50i recording with the camera, then rauscapturen via firewire into Premiere or Final Cut Pro HD project as a cut and with 2-pass variable bit rate with 9800er data rate than MPEG-DVD-compliant stream rausrendern - all interlaced, because his view of modern plasma consistently deinterlacing is very good, usually better than a software.

I am in the Z1 possess
but now I do not quite understand what you mean, respectively, what kind of software do I need to order the material so rausrendern?

I meant to mastering the finished edited video on DVD or less to be able to make it a normal DVD player can play ...

There's either their way to work as long as possible at high resolution, and only at the end make the output SD material only s.end when converting to mpeg-2 for the DVD, or there would be synonymous way, directly from the camcorder allow for SD runterrechnen material - and the SD-cut material.
What could be better now for you is synonymous is related to whether you have just a high-resolution cut ever need - or if you are the eh no preference, because you want to play in the end an SD DVD. Editing is easier to route 2, because there defacto cut in standard definition.
When runterrechnen material of HDV to SD material from APP2 übrigends was made right here in another thread that this a rather absurd quality loss is detectable. As a solution, it was recommended that the material again until making a HDV m2t file into the HDV camcorder to play back to back again and then the output on your PC with SD DV. Since you have spoken of APP is likely, now probably the most concern.
The data rate of 9800 seem to me rather ridiculous heights - in this procedure in 2-pass. So high, I would not necessarily go, and in these large data fields is probably the difference between 2-pass and 1 pass even more very low - because you can go directly to a fixed data rate, perhaps times of 8000th

The games with the Back to the camera but it means a generation leap in the MPEG codec, I think rather s.einen control / logic error in the workflow of the user. The Sony-Cam can even print directly synonymous of the Cam from SD. Since I found the material but certainly the next 3-4 years will use to unterschiedlcihen fairs, I would want to stay HD.
Would it be better quality eg, Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 mpeg4 (or H.264, DIVX rauszurendern) and then with a DVD player (most modern könenn the yes), the DIVX or WMV - play videos?
Oh yes, I just screw the data rate as high as possible in the DVD edition, because the films are only between 3-5 minutes long anyway, and draufpassen so loosely ...
Antwort von wolfgang:
Only you have so far almost only SD-DVD player available in the trade as synonymous changes the output as wmv-HD or H.264 at first.
Or are you laughing at you at one of the few players who already can output HD material via component. Imported equipment, we had already discussed, such as the Mediaman HVX-3500 solution. See for example here:

Where: synonymous playing is one of HC3 via hdmi not be a bad solution. If you plan at doing this, then it makes sense, of course, remain at high resolution across the entire workflow.

I had to go before, in the plasma via HDMI ... which codec would offer himself as, if I can play DivX and MP4/WMV synonymous?
