with the above mentioned camera of Panasonic, I am actually very happy because it makes wonderful pictures!
As some of you may know, the device even offers a conversion utility function, with the help of the conversion to MPEG2 format is faster.
Unfortunately, this function falls off during the conversion process often: The status display at the supplied HD Writer suddenly stops, it is not simply next. And if I then disconnect the USB connection, you can switch the camera no more, so I have to pull the times ...
This happens not in a particular file, but in sporadic intervals!
Why is that? Has anyone of you had similar experiences and may have a solution?

I do not because I do not use the part. Why synonymous?

I copy the clips to the 1:1 Calculator, edit them and give them out in the desired format.
Why should this be done differently ;-)

Why should this be done differently ;-) I have never used synonymous. The CD I have not even touched / unpacked.
Is there any thing interesting here?
Otherwise, I would imagine most as positive if the function would in the action.

@ StefanF - for me so, he copied the clips to the PC and change the filename so that we recognize recording date and time in the filename. It can be synonymous created subfolders for each recording date. Has made himself great for my Holiday movie (1200 clip in 14 days). The administrative function is synonymous not bad. For the administration and the copy synonymous reaches a "small" laptop.
@ Riki1979: I use this function is not synonymous. Better you cut your editing in HD and can be programmed to convert DVD creation in MPEG2.

Better you cut in HD ... I could even make synonymous! But when I play with Magix Video Deluxe 15, the HD files, they will not play fluently, but jerky. And I can not work with it! With the Mpeg2 format will my PC handle better!

Because I would do so more thoughts NEN new PC to buy or upgrade.
But status is now what is there and that seems to hand you so (have to).
Can not convert with Magix Deluxe simple? Then need not go through the Pana tool. Must use s.Anfang not necessarily NEN filter or whatever with.

I use the software did not I import my 50p material via special Macsoftware, the 50i material I import easily into FinalCutPro and cut into ProRes, so I have no problem!
