Frage von olandrea:I have a question that certainly is not easy zubeantworten. I was a long time professionally in Korea and was here with a Samsung LCD TV bought. Samsung sells its LCDs in Korea under the name PAVV I have the LN40R81BD. Here in Korea we have 220V and 60HZ NTSC stanbdart. Nu I come back again to Germany and would have to know if my TV would be in Germany.
The 220V are not a problem but are 60Hz in Germany, where we have only 50Hz, the LCD TV for a problem? My TV is not Multy runs only on NTSC. Can the anschliesssen a satellite receiver such as the Arion AF 8000 HDCI via the HDMI interface, the PAL / NTSC problem or do I have my beloved LCD in Korea can.
Thanks Olaf

So, Olaf ...
The AF8000 is a neat device, but it always comes back out, what you ahead 'reingibst.
HDMI makes it to 576p, 720p and 1080i ... This is both PAL and HD format just nix NTSC, unless you send a 720p59, 95/29, 97 or the appropriate 1080i format as a DVD inside.
Otherwise, he is Empfangsseitig s and DVB-S2 compatible. So if you are a channel on a satellite reception in Europe find the NTSC digital signals into DVB container in commercials, could fold. I do not know now whether AFTV in DVB broadcasts ... but more because I just fall in NTSC not.
What the device in no case is a format conversion! If one of the few Euro hinkriegte, would be the favorite.
Now I could go far on the effects of 60 Hz at the clock architecture in what monitors say ... but already you can see, up to DVD's, you can watch it, or maybe the camcorder is worth the whole and not for the costs likely to get something suitable in Germany ... must be yes no OLED.
