Frage von gimik:So I have of the SonyZ1 in school captured footage and now I would with my Macbook and FinalCut Pro 5 editing. The footage has the "Format" 1440 x 1080 and deHDV 1080i50.
If I run FinalCut he says first:
Codec was not found. They use a compressor without the necessary hardware.
If I get in the Sequence Settings the settings for my sequence says he wants to make the video compressor HDV 1080i50 was not found. Check whether the hardware available and for this compressor is set. Set the compressor to BMP.
So now my question. What is wrong or missing hardware or really the compressor? If a compressor is missing, where I get when hardware is missing, it has done anyway.
Thank you in advance in advance. Bin echt s.verzweifeln.

Antwort von PowerMac:
Final Cut Pro 5 is not compatible with Intel processors. You need version 5.1, which is no longer there to buy or Version 6 Final Cut Pro are not supported on computers (an entire system architecture has changed!) Such errors, because it is not programmed for X86.
If you have version 5.1 yet, but have not specified, it should suffice to reinstall.

Well thank you, then it will be that. Shit. ;-) Hmmmm. But why does FinalCut per 5 then in DV mode with no problems only with HDV has problems? Is this normal?
Thank you for the answer

Ne question yet. The FinalCut Express HD, I have with the Macbook get there is not synonymous. Is it synonymous logical?
Antwort von PowerMac:
Final Cut Pro 5 is basically incompatible. Just because parts of it go, other parts are not necessarily synonymous.
Which version of FCE you have then? It may be that you have with the installation of Final Cut Pro 5 FCE your zerschossen searched.
