Hello,
first of all let me emphasize that I am absolutely no expert, what video editing and I am at all with Windows Movie Maker program as something familiar. These encounters in which most of you probably Eperten to laughter, but I have not synonymous in the moment before me so very matter in more depth, so please respond synonymous so it can be a layman to understand, thank you.
So my question:
I used a lot with normal DV cameras filmed (SonyDCR HC90 and the DCR HC other series), I am now in possession of a SonyHDR-HC7E. With the restore in Windows Movie Maker (as I said it is currently the only program with which I am a layman klarkomme) and the record as AVI-DV, I have no problems until now. Also the auspielen back on the camcorder (via firewire) works without problems.
Only I have not yet s.die entire rail HDV rangewagt (too little filmed until now). Now to my real question:
Is there an inexpensive program (freeware or ????) with the normal one-DV Avi matters can convert HDV stuff ?????????
I know you from dust can not make gold, but it is surely synonymous from analog to DV-Avi. As I said all should be easy and possible without the extreme expense money be possible (if not then not).

This is a questionable undertaking.

Very good tool but rely on the somewhat "soft" material analog of course the well-known methods for image improvement ... eg sharpening edges.
The looks on the big course, television still grotte-term, but do you get the picture back in SD (also good with tools), then I have often my eyes are not married.

So sometimes it helps if you know exactly what you want and the tools that you use.

it is right on a full HD TV, I would like, then watch the HDV material.
The only option for playback HDV - video is my SonyCam. And since I SOWISO the material back to back mini-DV should like it fits, yes.
I voted yesterday evening times VirtualDubMod and AviSynth to load, but unfortunately failed my first attempt at fact überhaubt a file in VirtualDubMod to load, there were several error messages.

I rather think the latter.
The television can be synonymous upscaling. Some HD Television do very badly, others quite well. Give it a try.
