I have the following problem: The film was shot in HDV with 1080i. Now I have in Premiere CS4 MAC under a new project opens, 1080i25 (50i) is selected and the material cut.
Now I would like the whole thing in the best possible quality on a normal DVD burn. When I using "Send s.Encore" doing everything works synonymous, there is only left and right with a narrow black rim. If I find it in DV-PAL export exactly the same.
Actually I have to export uncompressed (quicktime / animation?) And then in the entire Encore import, or have I misunderstood something in HDV?
Resolutions, etc. Which should I choose. I hope someone can help.

Ok, now I have something rumprobiert and the whole may perhaps still somewhat limited.
The bars and links seem right with the pixel aspect ratio together zuhängen. Somehow I understand the whole thing at the moment not.
The sequence settings:
Frame size 1440 Horizontal 1080 - 16:9
Pixel Aspect Ratio: HD anamorph 1080 (1.333)
Fields: Upper field first
display: 25 fps - Time Code
So far so good, everything is normal.
Now I would like to export. As mentioned above with Option 1:
Quicktime
Codec: Animation
Quality: 100
Width: 720 - Height: 576
Frame rate: 25
Halbild: top first? Or down? Project's upper ...
Aspect Ratio: This is the question.
Do I D1 / DV PAL Widescreen 16:9 (1.4587), there are left and right narrow beam. The top and no bottom.
Do I anamorph HD 1080 (1.333) as the Project, there is NO right and left beams and only the top and bottom narrower beam.
What is there for alternatives s.Codec to provide the best possible quality and to obtain the whole picture complete? Geht das überhaupt?

You've captured it correctly: It is s.Seitenverhältnis of DV.
I can tell you now no logical explanation for this call, but programs like Sony Vegas to make it exactly like that. HD material (1080 or 720) receives Runterskalieren to DV DV preset Resolutionmit left and right black bars.
If these bars are not there, then the picture slightly (but noticeable) in the Width withdrawn.

A memorandum on export Dv is idiotic. From HDV directly to 576 * 720 in MPEG-2 for DVD is correct. A lateral Crop of each 9 pixels is correct.

I have until now always been a mpeg2 in 1920x1080, progressive, rausgerechnet, then the mpeg2 into dvd burning program imported dvd burned and ready.
s.rand will halt the overscan area cropped, but otherwise fits all. s.fernseher and looks great. no black margins (except for 4:3 TV) and so.
dvds but have not yet been made with encore ...

25 fps
Widescreen 16:9 (1.000)
Highest quality
In the premiere preview expenditure wirds me now synonymous left and right without border. If I use the video in VLC player without playing synonymous top edge and everything.
If I cut the video window to the Encore import, are the left and right will revert to the black edges.
Can not do anything on the other hand?

What I always do if I change the pictures on a PC is needed, Sliced HD sequence into a PAL sequence import and the extent kleinerskalieren no bars are visible.
