Frage von Antjem:Hello,
I have one in Final Cut cut HDV film length of 120 min in 16:9 in the best possible quality on a Dvd bring. How do I s.besten before? Am very grateful for suggestions. Have been here a few hours of leisure, but no concrete instructions found.
Also I have a 14 min film, what do I s.besten?
Urgent! Thanks for the help
Antwort von Axel:
There is, in the finished Compressor preset
for DVD Mpeg2> 120min, best quality, for 14 minutes, I recommend to duplicate a preset (in order to be able to edit and the "Own" secure) here and 8.5 Mbit / s set CBR (VBR only somewhat useful for smaller data rates of 8.5 and is the highest with all DVD players compatible quality level).
For very accurate calculation of storage capacity and data, download
this PS: At 120 min, I would consider whether a double layer would not be better.

Thanks for the tips with the 14min!
At 120 min movie, I have a stupid problem.
DVD - 120 min-best quality, I have already finished my toast but says it was too big for a DVD, about 6 GB. That is what I do not understand, sorry for the questions that are safe somewhere already been answered umpteen times, but I really wanted! Greetings Antje
Antwort von Axel:
Okay, I've never been so even a long film. Use just Bitrate Pro, enter the exact duration of your picture all the media, then the sound of your media (here, you know the data rate of 192 kB / s), and you see either memory requirements or the data rate. At 120 min and a 4.3 DVD he land you at 5 Mbit / s, borderline, but still ansehbar.
Add to "toast": I wanted to believe it yourself, but it's true that DVDs that are synonymous DSP be burned, with more players are compatible.

Thank you, I will try. We had a first Ausspielversuch the additional problem that parts of the film in color (a Farbkorrekturprogramm of Final Cut) have been processed. My editors had great difficulty in the data back into Final Cut to be imported, and Dvd Best Quality as the result looked like a Webfilmchen. Do you have the problem of ever heard?
Grüsse, Antje
Antwort von Axel:
Since I only with an iMac with 128er cut graphics card, color does not help me much, like Motion synonymous with longer clips are no longer quite so, although you are accustomed.
HDV does not torture with impunity. For color, the codec entirely unsuitable. If you want to change much s.Material, you should capture in HDV, but a ProRes timeline create. The entire film must then be fully rendered (and is at least 4 times as big), there is less loss of quality. At the Probematik HDV (8-bit) and color / Effects see

That was the Farbkorrektor made and the cutter, and when I corrected only the parts off with H.264, it looks good from synonymous. Only PAL Dvd immerses the problem. Dodgy history.
