Frage von metzgermi:Hello, I'm still a newcomer in the HDV post production. How do I get a loss-free quality of my recordings from Final Cut to DVD Studio Pro? Do I have with the MPEG2 format, it is synonymous or different? Work on a Macbook with Final Cut5.1.1 and DVD Studio Pro 4.1.0.

On the Fast, as well as synonymous Manual Quick forum you would have brought the answer:
In the best quality (which of the Height of her data with all DVD players, that is, synonymous with a short video that is the cap) fits one hours video on a normal blank with:
> Timeline> File> Export> Compressor use.
> Compressor> Preferences> DVD> DVD best quality 90 minutes ">" Name: MPEG-2, 6.2 Mbps, 2-pass "> Duplicate ("+"- default icon, right of the three icons below "default")> change data in 8 Mbit / s>
CBR (constant bitrate in Gesensatz to
V BR) and
1-Pass> New preset save ( "Own", which is probably because your standard default)
for the Picture. > Compressor> DolbyDigital 2.0 (in the same folder, the default may remain so)
for the sound. Destination define> Send.
The two files in DSP import.
Applies only for SD DVDs, so while the best quality, but in comparison to HD of course not "lossless" means.
