Frage von bjelgorod:Hey Guys,
I will provide 3sat with a few shots of a museum. They would have liked DVCpro material, but does my Canon XH-A1 HDV and so only SD, so we have agreed on a normal SD material (16:9, HDV, they would not because the show is not produced in HD.
Now my question:
Should I take HDV and then convert programmed via the editing in SD, or turn right on SD?
I'm really qualitatively the solution would be to shoot in HDV and then in the editing program to convert better, but what happens with the Gops of Mpegstreams that gives back Halbilder clean and the material remains usable for editing with Avid?
Thank you for tips

After you do so with regard to the specification of the 3sat materials have reached agreement, so no 4:2:2 farbsubsampling is required, I would in turn hdv, and all the nle in DVCPRO (50mbit) (sd is anyway) change, thus probably all would benefit.

Thanks for the reply.
How it looks in this case with the field dominance!
HDV is upper field and lower DVCpro.
Specifies that no problems when I dei Premiere CS3 on the issue of DVCpro bottom field specify the field dominance, however, the source material top field?

@
Bielgorod, in general is yes (in this forum always synonymous of
Axel and
PowerMac recommended), an HD camera to film in HD with
more, not the Camera herunterzuconvertieren by synonymous and not in the editing program, but always
until the very end if necessary SD output.
To your Adobe and Avid of 3sat (I assume I have correctly interpreted) I can not say anything.
But to the general field dominance: the NLE's behave differently as well. Therefore, try around with a short sequence.
My MAGIX VDL is there so stupid (or, if you synonymous so smart) that it seems to
always correct outputs when in settings Automatic Interlaceeinstellung "is checked for the.
Default in the settings of the encoder, bottom field first "is set. But as I said, interpreting my MAGIX (so far) always right, if no preference I spend as SD or HD.
If in the end product of visual control, no judder (crab: two steps forward, one can see back), everything should be fine, and can correctly capture the AVID.
