am now the proud owner of a HDR-HC3. Previously Panasonic NV-DS60.
Question: HDV Split is doing so now like ScLive just as logically. "M2t MPEG2.
If I were now in Ulead Video Studio 10 import comes always as a small window that only need to be converted.
Is me with this conversion uminösen quality lost?
Otherwise we would have so directly with the camcorder in UVST10 import, which is of course synonymous via HDV plug-in works.

Without going Ulead VideoStudio to know:
There is nothing converted - synonymous when it look like.
The video material is only indexed. The program must be the GOP (Group of Pictures) structure "catalog", so you know where one frame later, as earlier as DV or cut through the Timeline Scrubber "can.
There is only a quality loss, if you apply effects, there must in fact be expected. But this effect loss is purely theoretical. If you're not the cheapest plugin filter is used, you can see in practice usually nothing but the picture changed by the applied effect.

These are transport streams, at least during the beta testing of the software not in VS10 were importable. There was quite heavy discussions with the Product Manager, both m2t files to be imported, as synonymous to the export of m2t files to the HDV camcorder to allow. At least at that time wanted Ulead not do both, well, at least the latter has been with the SP1 from 20.10.06 possible.
And now is working to import the m2t files - of HDVSplit - also in VS10 +? That would be good for the user messages.
To change: if now is the same as the big brother MSP8, then only the conversion of mepg-2 transport stream to mpeg-2 program stream, because these are easily playable. Jau goes with the 10 "pro" version, SP1 I had installed the same.
Indeed, it an additional s.with file the extension "mpg".
That is fast enough but not very fast for the short snippets Scene ...
Video Studio 10 seemed to me Media Studio 8 much simpler to use ...
It's simply faster to its DVD for dear acquaintance and kinship:)
What does
not it is the 3rd Item: "DV to DVD Wizard." Since everything is gray while the other two parts of the program after setting the plug and the device control synonymous directly on the camcorder can be accessed.
