Hello, first,
in search of info on a new cam, I landed here in the forum. After purchase an HF10, I have now the following problem / question.
In my test shots, I often had a disturbing "plop" on the soundtrack. The cause was quickly found, there is much play with s.der assembled zoom rocker. In other words, the button is fairly loose and have a slight tilt of the cam to another Page Klacker leads to the button.
Accordingly, the noise occurs in the film when using the zoom on, unless it succeeds with extreme sensitivity in the fingers to avoid it. However, this is often not to create.
Then I looked in the spot market HF100 views and had noted that the device in the same button is loose.
Series errors?
So great is the cam otherwise, this noise is extremely annoying. It is on the housing so synonymous super transferred to MicroStation.
Why because there is so much game I can not understand. Should this not be to remove the cam back.

Not enough HF10/100 user here?
Today I was again in a second shop and had me a HF100 as well as competitive models viewed. The zoom rocker clatter synonymous here with all other model did not.
Apart from that I had, however, have the impression that the canonical model of the processing and value before the competition lies.
The Panas were cheaper and the Sony's roughly equivalent.
