It is not. The default is always 50i before.
Also in Digital Cinema mode is 50i output. The 50i is 25p but then "wrapped".

Yes, I would like to understand synonymous. Mir is synonymous not entirely clear and a setting I have not found.
You can probably only between 4 different quality levels to choose. The FHD is best with 1920 x 1080 in 50i, but with the additional indication that in front of the sensor will be 25p.
