Hello!
I have myself a HV30 camcorder increased to the extent I am satisfied, had times of 10 minutes and wanted it to play on the PC.
This was my first one PCI Firewire Controller risen, and although this one:
click has as far as everything went, camcorder connected, was recognized and of Windows installed (XP SP2)
Then I had to try, (as in the camcorder manual mode set to play ...) first with Ulead Video Studio 10, with Nero, Vegas Pro 8.0, HDVSplit - all the same problem no preview image, and the files in the receptive be created are all "empty" it is not so easy, even though the play can start.
Then I thought, not enough space, I first cleared and defragmented, but 30GB should probably just enough I thought.
-> Nothing was synonymous
Then another (safe working firewire cable) is not synonymous
Then a test in normal DV mode. Picture no.
Now my question is the DV / HDV source camera broken?
Is the firewire card is not good enough?
What can I even try?
