Hello,
I bought my HV20 today and noticed that when I connect Headphones only a fairly loud noise and cheep hear.
In Play mode, the recorded sound (inter Mic) quietly in the background can be heard. Mainly I listen to but only a very loud noise.
Without connected Headphones the sound correctly through the internal speakers play.
After that I'll try an external Microphone (3.5 jack with its own power supply) and connected to something filmed. I have the same noise on the tape had.
Do I something wrong or superior base my HV20 has a defect?

Are you sure you're s.Kopfhöreranschluss and not in the LANC jack?

Just the manual reading of the HV20. The factory stands on the AV output jack and needs only to Headphones in the camera menu mode.
